Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using Roomana, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

Eligibility

• You must be a current or incoming ASU student
• You must use a valid ASU email address
• You must be at least 18 years old
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account

User Accounts

• One account per person is allowed
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure
• You must keep your profile information reasonably accurate and current
• If you choose to add optional contact details or social links, you understand they may be displayed to matched or prospective roommates on the platform
• You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account

Acceptable Use

• Do not harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Do not post false, misleading, or inappropriate content
• Do not attempt unauthorized access to the platform
• Do not use automated systems to misuse the service
• Do not violate applicable laws or regulations

Content and Reviews

You retain ownership of content you submit, but you grant us the right to display and use it to operate the platform. Reviews should reflect honest personal experience and should not include personal information about others. Only share social handles, phone numbers, or other contact details that belong to you and that you are comfortable making visible through the platform.

Matching and Platform Disclaimers

Our matching algorithm is designed to help suggest compatible roommates, but we cannot guarantee a perfect match. Users are responsible for their own judgment, communication, and due diligence before entering any roommate or housing arrangement.

Financial Disclosure

Roomana is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or financially supported by Arizona State University or by apartment complexes, property managers, or housing providers. Recommendations and rankings are not paid placements.

Changes to These Terms

If we make material changes to these terms, we will update this page and revise the last-updated date shown here.
